Founded January 1, 1995, Artists Elite International is the Adult Professional Division of Dance with France Studios… the originator of Calgary’s premiere variety talent show. It’s the only dance company of its kind to provide a home to a variety of talent and unique multi- level performers including dancers, actors, singer/ songwriters, models, musicians, comedians, jugglers, dance crews and choreographers. Artists Elite dancers must audition to gain membership into the company. Often dancers come up through the ranks of Dance with France and also come from a variety of other dance studios across Canada preferably once they have reached the highest levels at their dance studios and/or they demonstrate a strong passion for the performing arts.
Along with providing a great facility for dance classes, rehearsals, and theatres to perform in, the company provides training to continually improve technique and physicality. Opportunities to perform at numerous high profile events are often offered. Dancers and singers have learned a tremendous amount of knowledge from their Artists Elite experience as they are given the chance to network and work with several industry contacts. Many members have gone on to start their own singing groups and dance companies based on the same module as Artists Elite. As Artists Elite prides itself in being a trend setter, ethical and an innovator in the entertainment industry, our clients come to trust a company with experience. Artists Elite is proud of the industry contacts they have built up over the past two decades.
Productions are held twice per year, with the production running for a minimum of one night with the goal of running 3 nights in the theater. Artists Elite strives to offer the dancers with respectable paying performance opportunities, promotional work and a variety of dance jobs.
